Episode #042: Dustin Dailey

Dustin Dailey is an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Georgetown University working with the football and men’s lacrosse programs. Prior to his arrival at the Hilltop in 2021 he was the head speed and strength coach at D1 Sports Training in his home state of Texas. Additionally, he’s spent time as an assistant coach at Saint Leo University, professional performance intern at the NSCA headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO and graduate assistant coach at Salisbury University. Dailey got his start as a personal trainer before completing internships at American University and his alma mater, the University of Maryland. Along with his current role, he is also a weightlifting coach programming and coaching both recreational and competitive weightlifters. 

A former quarterback and wide receiver at the University of Maryland, Dailey got into competitive weightlifting following his college football career. He competes for Category 5 Athletics Weightlifting, and has competed at the American Open Series (2017-2019) and 2018 University Nationals.
