The Strength Game Podcast Episode #053: Aaron Wood
Aaron Wood is the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Belhaven University where he oversees all 15 teams. Prior to arriving at Belhaven in 2019, Wood served as a strength coach at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX for a season overseeing both the football and baseball programs. He spent time working with both ice hockey programs at the University of Minnesota following three years in the private sector at Elkin Sports Performance in Richmond, VA working with athletes of all levels from high school to professional. Aaron got his start coaching at his alma mater, Liberty University, as an intern coach in 2014.
Wood has competed in push-pull competitions and continues to stay deeply invested in his own training through powerlifting, triphasic, and conjugate styles all to find the best approach to impact the student-athletes he works with.
