Episode #022: Chris Tolzman

Chris Tolzman is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the United States Naval Academy working directly with the sprint football, women’s soccer and track & field programs. In addition to his work with his varsity teams, Tolzman is also a Professor of Physical Disciplines at The Academy, where he is an instructor for various Physical Education courses including boxing, martial arts and weight training.

Prior to his current position he’s also spent time as a strength & conditioning coach at Georgetown University, American University, Athletic Performance Inc. in Millersville, MD and the West Michigan Whitecaps of the Detroit Tigers organization. He began his career as a student volunteer at East Carolina University in the strength & conditioning department and later as an intern at the Philippi Sports Institute in Las Vegas. Tolzman is also a competitive Olympic weightlifter where he’s been competing since 2013.
