Episode #026: Michael Robinson

Michael Robinson is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at California Baptist University where he oversees training for the women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, women’s water polo, men’s and women’s swim and wrestling programs. Originally starting as a part-time coach he was promoted into a full-time role in 2018. Prior to CBU, Robinson was the director of strength and conditioning and player development at Citrus College in Glendora, CA as well as the Head-Assistant men’s basketball coach. He’s also spent time as a graduate assistant in the kinesiology department at Cal Baptist and self-ran his own training business working with athletes on skill, player development and sports performance. 

Robinson started his college basketball career at nearby UC San Diego before transferring to finish his last two seasons at Cal Baptist. He’s found new ways to compete and is actively training and competing in triathlons and various other distanced based endurance races.
