The Strength Game Podcast Episode #040: Regan Quaal
Regan Quaal is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Minnesota where he assists with both the men’s and women’s hockey programs in addition to departmental research. Prior to this current role he’s spent time as a sports performance coach at the University of Providence and Georgetown University, a head strength coach at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA as well as graduate assistant coach at Belmont University. Quaal started his career as an intern at Western Michigan and local CrossFit gym as well as served as a sports science intern previously at Minnesota under Cal Dietz. During his collegiate coaching stints, he has coached, programmed for, and consulted with many other gyms and athletes including CrossFit Lake Effect, Big North Barbell, and CrossFit Sabertooth. He is the owner of MASQ Training, an online training program for gyms and individual strength athletes.
Quaal himself is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking and backpacking when he is not training in the weight room. He has been competing in CrossFit since 2014 and has been most recently training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
